My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Doppler. I am from Florida.

I was displaced due to hurricanes at the shelter I was living in. I was found as a stray and named Doppler since my ears are so large they can likely get signal :)

In all seriousness though I am the most adorable pup who loves to play and has the cutest full body wags. I do have some papilloma's in my mouth, these don't affect me health wise (think of it as a mouth wart) and I can still be adopted however, they are contagious to other dogs if we play together, so I should go to a no dog foster home or a foster home where I can be separated from other dogs.

I am friendly with other dogs I have met in passing but haven't been tested with cats or kids.

The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
