Hi there! I’m Ggul, which means "honey" in Korean. Just like my name suggests, I have a sweet personality that I’d love to share with you.
I was born in a shelter in Masan, where my mother was rescued just in time. I’m the smallest of my five siblings, and while they all love to leap into the spotlight, I tend to be a bit more cautious. I take my time getting to know new faces, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll warm up to you pretty quickly! Once I feel safe, I can’t resist a good pet or a hug, and you might even catch me showing off my belly. Plus, if you lift me up, I’ll snuggle right into your arms!
I have a normal energy level—I love my walks, but after we come home, I’d be happy to curl up on the couch and relax. If I were human, I’d be your perfect coffee mate!
Sometimes, I can get startled if I encounter something scary on our walks since I haven’t had as much experience as I’d like. I need a little help with my walking training, so please take me outside! I promise I’ll learn with every walk we take together. Overall, I’m a calm and gentle pup who just wants to be loved.
I’m pretty friendly with other dogs and enjoy saying hello, though I might not engage in play much since I’m a bit of an introvert. I’ve never met a cat before, so I’m not quite sure how we would get along.
I might speak up when I want something or to let you know if I see strangers around.
I’m working hard on my training, learning how to be confident and enjoy my time outdoors. I might be a little shy at first, but once I know I can trust you, I promise to bring a lot of love into your life. All I dream of is finding my forever home, where I can be your loyal companion. Are you the one I’ve been waiting for?

Most of our dogs are currently in Korea. After we give approvals, we arrange the flight schedule for rescued dogs. Some of our rescued dogs are being fostered in GTA. Please check their locations on profiles.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
