What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This beautiful 9yo girl is the perfect balance of playful and mellow. She enjoys walks, runs, hikes, dog parks, stuffed animals, and most of all spending time with her people. While she is well past her puppy years, she has lots of love and joy to share. She is affectionate, playful, relaxed, silly, and a very gentle soul.
Dakota came to when she was four years old from a loving family who no longer had the means to care for her. She has been a loyal and loving companion ever since. Unfortunately, her health has started to take a turn. She has a mass requiring surgery, and I am unable to afford its removal or provide her with the necessary aftercare. She has a long life ahead of her with the proper resources.
An ideal home would have a large backyard for her to enjoy. She gets along great with other dogs but could be comfortable with only having human companions. Dakota needs a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and someone who can keep up with her activity level.
