Meet this incredibly sweet big boy we have named Oleander. He arrived at the shelter after becoming lost on an adventure on 10/22. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim this sweet baby. Oleander is just 3 years old and weighs a mere 72lbs. He is as cute as can be and just so lovable. He is happy to see anyone especially the volunteers and he is very loving affectionate! He has earned the name "Love Bug" because he immediately hugged a volunteer when he left his kennel to have his pictures taken. He is super duper smart because knows simple commands such sit when asked and he may know more. Oleander would certainly love to be taught so much more. He needs to have a family or favorite person that will be patient and give him the reassurance that he is important everyday, guide him on the right path to be the best pup that the volunteers already knows that he is. The volunteers know inside that big strong body there is a great personality that is quickly shining through. Even though life has given Oleander a curve ball, he knows that no matter what, he will happily gives all the love and hugs you could ever deserve. He gives the best hugs! Give him a chance and keep him safe and loved. Its all he wants and needs. Just to be yours forever. He doesn't need to start out his life in a loud shelter. We believe in this little angel. Will you please give him a shot at a fair life? It would make all his dreams come true. He is just the sweetest teddy bear!
Oleander is current vaccines and neutered; he will be micro chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption. He will be eagerly awaiting for your visit in Run 19 and his ID is 5700.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
