My name is Flora!

We adopted Flora when we were living in Honduras. She is a sweet girl and loves walks and running outside. She has never had an accident in the house and loves our two children and two small senior female dogs. Our daughters love playing dress-up with her and pretending to ride her around the house. She has been a part of our family for about two years. We love her dearly.

She does not like some larger male dogs and had a biting incident with a neighbor’s male whippet while out walking before bed about two weeks ago. This has never happened before during our two years with her, including living in close quarters with other families in embassy housing in Honduras. We live in military quarters and the base ruled that we cannot keep her here. We are devastated. She is a wonderful dog and deserves a second chance.
