Foster Home Feedback

10/29/2024 Foster Feedback: Kerrigan is an active, adventurous young German Shorthair Pointer. Her favorite activities include sniffing in all the leaves, chasing after her foster sister in the yard, and getting booty scratches. We've had Kerrigan for two weeks now and she has settled in well. She is potty trained and kennel trained, but she will counter surf for food.
She loves meeting new people so much that she will jump all over them. Once she knows you, she will cry and wiggle when you get close.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

There is a pre-adoption application, reference check, and home visit required prior to adopting an animal. There is an adoption donation/fee applied to all dogs. This fee ranges from $100-150. These fees help cover the veterinary care we have provided for the animals while they wait for homes. The fee also helps pay for the food and other general care we provide for the dogs. You must be 21 yrs or older to adopt a dog and can not live in a an area where there are dog breed bans. We do adopt to homes outside on the area, but there are special requirements for out of state adopters.

Go meet their pets

We regularly have "Meet the Dogs!" events at the West Fargo PetSmart store. These events will give you the opportunity to meet some of the dogs we have available for adoption and to visit with our volunteers. See our website for schedule dates/times.
