Meet Oswald, a dog with a heart as big as his personality. Oswald has had quite the journey before landing softly at Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre. Oswald was found about 2.5 hours away hiding in a shed. He had old medical bandages on one of his front legs, was malnourished, and in desperate need of medical intervention (as he was almost completely hairless with sores and scabs all over his body). Oswald was found to be suffering from mange. Thanks to the caring individual who found him, the municipal officer who advocated for him, and the vet clinic who treated him, Oswald's mange was treated! You would think that would be enough of an ordeal for any dog, right? Think again. The lovely municipal officer who was overseeing Oswald's case reached out to dozens upon dozens of animal organizations in search of somewhere who had space for Oswald to no avail! Oswald was becoming stressed within his environment, and needed to be seen by a greater audience in order to find his forever home. Then, a call for help for Oswald came into our email inbox, and we knew we had to help this guy out! And so, here he is! The sweetest little bald boy. We have done additional testing to ensure his treatment worked (they did) and are giving him a wonderful diet and routine baths to help his hair grow back. He's a sweet soul who is known for his friendly demeanor and affectionate nature. Oswald loves to give and receive cuddles, making him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend. He's not just a pet; he's a confidante, a playmate, and a source of unconditional love. Oswald's joy is infectious, his loyalty unwavering. His ability to bring happiness into any room is unparalleled. Despite his current circumstances, Oswald remains upbeat, exuding positivity that is truly inspiring. Adopting Oswald isn't just about giving a dog a home. It's about welcoming a bundle of love into your life, a companion who will be there for you through thick and thin. So why wait? Make Oswald a part of your family today, and experience the unadulterated joy of having a loyal friend by your side. Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 30 Age: 6yrs 0mths 1wks
