Wink if you are the happiest boy! Wink if you love everyone and everything! Wink if you are the life of the party! Winks is all of this and more! This cute boy came into the shelter with a very infected eye that had to be removed. He handled the surgery and recovery like a champ and is now ready to find his forever family! He is an absolute joy in his foster home. He is potty and crate trained, though he does not need to be crated and can be left alone without being destructive. He loves toys, and his foster dog siblings! He lives with several other dogs of both genders and loves them all equally. He loves to go for walks, and is learning leash manners. He likes to hop like a kangaroo for the first few minutes, then settles into a nice rhythm. He is improving every day on his leash and does best on his harness. He loves to run around the backyard and gets the best zoomies. His happy prance looks like a noble steed gallivanting around the yard. He is very silly and keeps us laughing at his antics. He loves to cuddle and be pet, and rewards you with kisses. Winks is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met, and is just a joy to be around. He may be short one eye, but he makes up for it in the size of his heart. His ideal family will be an active one, preferably with a playful dog sibling. He is moderately energetic, but very well mannered and smart. He is not a howly husky, and does not do much talking. Winks goes to work with his foster mom and is a great office dog. He does have heartworms, but is sponsored for up to $400 of his treatment. Heartworms are completely curable and are not contagious to you or any animals in your home. He has already started treatment and will be ready to finish with you! If you are looking for a lifelong companion with a zest for life, this is your guy! Reach out to his foster to learn more and setup a time to meet him! Email hickeym08@gmail.com. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 50.4 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks
