My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This super tall and lanky girl was found on the side of a busy road where sadly many dogs are dumped. Luckily a good samaritan took her home and then to the vet to check her over and make sure she wasn't injured too badly. She's the calmest goofy sweetheart, already potty trained, gentle and calm. She is currently learning that her foster dogs are fun to play with. For now we know she is a typical great pyrenees, calm, intelligent, curious, playful and funny. She will do well in a family and bonds quickly and deeply!

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
