My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maizie! Maizie is a beautiful 2-3 year old, laid-back Torti, who was found in a good Samaritans backyard with her two kittens before coming into care. Her kittens grown (Meowy still available), she is excitedly looking for her forever family. Maizie is a very sweet girl  who has a lot of love to give. She’s very affectionate and would love to curl up next to you while watching TV or reading a book and would be a great companion cat. She gets along well with other cats, but would just as happily be an only cat. She would do best in a mid to lower activity home with adults or older kids.Maizie..

Maizie is spayed, receive 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay year after to register her - it's done for you! Interested in Maizie? Let us know! GoodMews22@aol.com.Or call us at 540.717.4420.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
