Skipper absolutely lives up to his name. He will greet you whenever you enter a room, then stick by your side waiting for 'orders'. Skipper relaxes by following whatever his Captain is up to--watching TV from the back of the couch, or curling up next to you to protect you from marauders, even while you sleep.

If you decided to give him shore leave, he will find some toys to play with. He even knows (and loves!) to play fetch! All he asks for in way of wages is lots of petting, kissing, and carrying him around sometimes. Being your second in command is hard work!

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
