If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We found Winston at a kill shelter in Carson, CA. He was on the euthanasia list due to limited space, and when we saw how sweet he was, we knew we couldn't let that happen. So we brought him home with us, and we're hoping to find him a wonderful forever home.
Winston is between 1-1.5 yrs old, and is a German Shepherd mix. He's such a sweet and friendly pup, and is great with other dogs. He definitely still has some puppy energy and loves to play, so he'll need a home where he can burn off all that extra energy. He's a strong puller on walks, but we think with the proper training he'll learn to stick by your side. In just the few days we've had him, he's made incredible improvements -- smart little guy :).
If you're willing to give Mr. Norrington plenty of enrichment and training, we think he'll be the perfect, most loving dog you could ask for.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
