Happiness is a silvery-gray former stray named Harley Quinn. At 5 years of age, she’s 10 petite pounds of sugar and space and all things nice as she slowly settles into her foster home. Thriving on her foster mom’s affection, she LOVES cuddling and snuggling with her, resting her head on her, rolling over for belly rubs, and especially enjoys cuddling under the covers with her at bedtime. In fact, she sweetly insists on it! Always excited to greet her foster mom when she comes home, Harley Quinn is equally excited to meet new people, jumping up on them joyfully in anticipation of receiving a treat or even better, receiving some love. Moderately to highly energetic, she also loves going for walks, walking fairly well on leash, and engaging with her smaller and similar-sized doggy foster friends, while co-existing comfortably with the resident cats. Only just starting to play with toys, extremely motivated by food and love, she may not know any commands as yet, but she’s eager to learn and to please, is crate trained and hard at work on her house-training. Given her first real chance at forever, Harley Quinn now hopes to find the most loving of homes that will patiently polish her puppyish manners, complete her training, including her commands, keep her happily active during the day and cuddle and snuggle her at night.

To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
