Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppy is a wonderful and affectionate 11.5 pound cat who likes to play with toys and talks very softly. He usually spends the day hanging out by his mom on her lap or next to her on the bed. He has the entire house to roam about and lots of windows to look outside from his tall cat tree. He is declawed and uses the cat litter box. No problems.
Poppy had his right eye removed because of iris melanoma about a month ago and is recovering very well. The vet said the ultrasound and chest X-ray showed no cancer spread and she thought it was localized and he had a good chance it will not come back. I have 2 cats with claws and I do not think their personalities would mix.
Poppys only companion (female) is being relocated so a fairly quiet home would be ideal. He is about 8 years young and so may enjoy more action. A dog may not be good in the same house.
