Kombu is bonded to his brother Nori KRLA-A-8235 and the two must be adopted together.

Double the love, double the fun! Meet Kombu and Nori, two identical baby bats who will fill your life with antics and love. Kombu and Nori are part Siamese and have the typical Siamese personality: chatty, social, intelligent, cuddly, and very active. You can expect to hear their thoughts on many things! They love people and other cats and immediately start to purr when approached. They happily entertain themselves wrestling and scampering around the house, but they also love a good nap on your lap. Nori is slightly bigger and the more adventurous of the two, whereas Kombu sticks close to his people and waits for his brother to take the lead on new adventures. They love to ride on your shoulders supervising household chores, and their favorite chore to help with is making the bed. They are easygoing about being handled and they are used to getting their teeth brushed!

Kombu and Nori are typical Siamese and are very interactive and people-focused, so they would do best in a home where they will not be left alone for long periods of time.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
