Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Silly, Loving, Animated
There's nothing prehistoric about Silvisaurus - she has the energy of a kitten and loves to play! This pretty girl will go haywire for just about anything, but wand toys and crumpled up balls are her favorite. She's almost like a little circus kitty who can do all kinds of acrobatics when she's playing!
Silvisaurus is also just as snuggly as she is playful. She prefers to be in the same room as her people and loves snuggling up by your legs, purring away. Silvisaurus also has a thing for being held while cooking - think of her as your snuggly little sous chef! She's a chatty girl too, who can't resist giving you a meow whenever you make eye contact or when it's time to eat.
When Silvisaurus first came home, she was overcome with nerves and anxiety, which her foster believes may have been feline PTSD. With some time and patience, Silvisaurus was able to feel okay being held, but it took even longer for her to feel even semi-comfortable around strangers. When her person had to move a few times, Silvisaurus became more stressed and was put on anxiety medication to help, but it's unclear whether this has been the right solution to her stress.
Silvisaurus' foster thinks what she needs is a stable home environment with someone who can spend lots of time with her and try to help her overcome her anxiety issues. Since she loves people so much, Silvisaurus would be happiest in a quiet home that is not over stimulating and where she can be around her people often and gets lots of snuggles. She tolerates other cats but hasn't met any dogs.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
