Hi there, human friends! My name is Trixie, and I'm an English Bulldog who's ready to charm my way into your heart and home!
Let's just get one thing straight: I am the queen of stuffed toys. Seriously, if you have a toy, it's going to be my new best friend. And let me tell you, when I say I love to play fetch, I mean I want to play fetch like it's gonna be my Olympic sport! You throw it, I'll bring it back, and I won't judge you if you need a break after the first ten throws (but I promise not to stop asking for more!). If I'm not playing with my toys I would like to just follow you around just to be in your presence. I also love to cuddle with my hooman and soak up all the attention...
If I'm feeling ignored (how dare you!), I have a special tactic: I will place my beloved toy right in front of you, waiting for you to acknowledge its magnificence. And if that fails, I'll reposition it right on your feet. It's like a gentle reminder that I'm here, I'm fabulous, and I've got some serious tossing insistence!
I may have been found as a stray, but I've got a loving heart just waiting to be snuggled. Did I mention I have a heart-shaped mark on my backside? Yep, that's my cheeky way of saying, "I love you already!
I'm working on house training, so expect the occasional "whoopsie! that comes with being a lovable goofball. I'm crate trained, though, which means I know how to respect my space - and it's a great place for nap time, if you ask me. If I'm in my crate I'm quiet as a mouse... I barked one time since being here and it scared my foster mom. She didn't know I made a sound so she came running to check on me. She was relieved when she found out my toy was just stuck on top of the table...
Now, about living arrangements: I'd do best as an only dog because, honestly, I just want to soak up all your love and attention (and snacks!). I may tolerate another dog as long as they're cool with my superstar status and don't pay too much attention to me. You know, just in case I want to keep all the spotlight for my fetching cuteness!
Oh, and fun fact: I had a "makeover recently with some surgery to help me breathe better (because who wants to snooze with snorts?), and I'm now spayed. What can I say? I like to breathe easy while living my best life!
So, if you're ready to adopt the most affectionate, toy-obsessed, 100% lovable English Bulldog in town, you'd better come meet me soon! I can't wait to be your new fur-ever friend! Throw that toy!
