My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On the prowl for a dog who's the total package? Look no further than Hunter! Hunter is full of classic puppy energy, and loves to jump up and gives hugs. He is very friendly with people, and loves nothing more than a good pet behind his soft ears. Hunter would make an excellent adventure buddy, he is a dog full of curiosity and wonder. He has been working very hard on his manners and is getting better every day. If he sounds like the boy for you, stop by and meet him today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
