My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Dude was brought in as a stray and no one ever came looking. He completed his 5 day stray hold and is now up for adoption through our shelter. He was very skinny when he first came in and looked like he wasn't being cared for. Dude is 30 pounds but will gain some the more with nutrition he is getting now. He is a very happy little dog and always looking for attention. He is a heeler so he will need regular exercise and lots of room to run. A fenced yard would be best but not required. He seems to do well with other dogs so far. Has not been cat tested yet. Dude is now neutered and up to date on his vaccines.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
