My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diana`s dad was her favorite human in the world. Sadly, her dad got very sick and wasn`t able to care for her any longer. Diana loves all people, but has a special affinity for men. She is a very calm, quiet and gentle lady with excellent manners. She walks beautifully on a leash and does well in public. Diana is great in the house and is potty trained. She will make a wonderful companion that loves to be with her people.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! Diana is one of many fantastic senior animals that Pawmetto Lifeline has available for adoption. The holidays are a great time of year to welcome a new furry family member into your home - especially a loving and deserving senior pet like Diana.

Diana is a smaller medium-sized dog and weighs 27 pounds. She is a healthy girl, just has some arthritis which is not uncommon for a dog her age. Diana is also heartworm negative.

Diana would appreciate a quieter home in her golden years. She has done well around other dogs that are more submissive and do not bother her.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
