Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rosa and Paco are a remarkable bonded 4-year-old pair who need a patient adopter who is experienced with feral dogs.
These two were rescued in November 2020 from a hoarding case and are considered feral. They’re a little leary of pretty much everything around them except for each other! They are very sweet but just too nervous to let you get super close.
Paco and Rosa are two souls with a unique story that speaks volumes about resilience, loyalty, and the transformative power of love. Having embarked on a somewhat feral journey, Paco and Rosa found themselves navigating the challenges of a smaller dog pack, where survival was their primary focus. Yet, beneath the layers of their initial shyness, a boundless potential to thrive in a loving home awaits. These two companions share an unbreakable bond—a testament to the strength found in friendship and the unwavering loyalty they have for each other. Though their past may have shaped them, Paco and Rosa now stand at the threshold of a new chapter, ready to blossom as they learn to trust and embrace the warmth of a caring home. Together, Paco and Rosa create a unique sense of security and comfort, providing each other with the support needed to flourish. Their journey is not just a story of survival but a beautiful testament to the resilience of animals and the transformative effects of love and care.
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up-to-date on vaccines, deworming, heartworm tested, a supply of heartworm preventative, and microchip.
If you would like to set up a meet and greet with these two, please fill out an interest-to-adopt form at www.scdrm.com, and we’ll be in touch!

We want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal so at Second Chance Dog Rescue Mansfield we do our best to match potential adopters with their perfect pet. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with a home visit, references and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then finalize the adoption and wish you happy tails. We are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues. We also love hearing you brag about your new adopted fur baby and love getting updates throughout the year.
