Hi I'm Simone! I have had a long road and am ready for my forever home! I came up to NH from Florida in April 2024. Unfortunately, before I could be adopted, I was found to have a medical condition that required a long course of treatment. Well, now I am at the end of that treatment and ready to go home! I would do best as an only cat where I can get all the love from my people. I am a friendly girl I promise, even when I can look a little grumpy in photos! I enjoy greeting people, getting plenty of head scratches, and eating all my food.
I am currently looking for a foster-to-adopter! Please reach out for more info about me!

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
