Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“Rub Mah Belly!” this cuddly boy looooves his belly time – and that fluff ain’t gonna rub itself! If you are looking for a friendly, affectionate fella’ to snuggle with after a long day, please allow us to introduce you to Rome! This handsome four-year-old boy is a playful and happy spirit who relishes being loved. His voice resonates with joy when he expresses interest in everything he adores, whether it’s a meal, playtime, or a solid dose of affection. Rome is a belly rub aficionado, and if he’s not flipped over to receive them, he’ll happily sleep on his back in the assumed position. At nighttime, you can find this lovable boy warming the foot of your bed – just imagine this lovebug gazing at you with his magnificent eyes – one is blue, the other green! Although he takes his grooming duties seriously, Rome is particularly welcoming of a good brushing to help him look his best. This dashing young man does fancy himself a lap cat and is okay with being picked up - on his terms, of course! And should the mood strike him, he may opt to let his playful and mischievous side loose by showing his water dish who’s boss. On a practical note, Rome would like you to know he is a good eater, with culinary preferences gravitating toward pate food. He’s also committed to a clean home environment, using his litterbox consistently. Rome might be a little shy at first, preferring to take in all the vibes of his new environment before venturing out and settling in. He’s the kind of guy who wants your love all to himself and would be best as the only cat in his home. We are unsure of how Rome is with dogs or children.
Rome was adopted as a kitten, but when tensions developed with the other cats in his house, he was returned to us. We don’t know if it was him or the other cats, so we are recommending he be an only cat.
This sweet boy is ready for a forever home where he can receive the love he so deeply deserves – could that be yours?!
