My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Courtesy Post** Ralphie is a 2 year old male. He’s very young but out of the puppy stage. He is your typical Jack Russell Terrier. Full of love and energy. Ralphie loves attention and demands it sometimes. He loves to go for long walks around Carlyle Lake where he lives. He did a 5k this summer which actually wore him out for a bit. Lol You really can't wear out a JRT. He loves to swim in the pool and chase his ball. He follows me everywhere when I am home. He needs attention. He would love another dog to run around with. We have a doggy door so he is alone and home when we are at work. He can go into the fenced yard as he wishes. No destruction in the house. He is always looking for me in the window. Ralphie is house trained and well mannered. What he mainly wants is someone that will love him forever. We want him to have a securely fenced yard. No wrought iron unless it is screened. No electronic fencing. No short chain link because he will be able to get over it. He will not do well in an apartment. You must also have a very good vet reference. Please let your vet know that we will be calling them. Ralphie needs a home with no cats and no little critters such as hamsters or parakeets. He requires a home with no children under age 12. Ralphie’s adopter must be able to drive to the St. Louis, Missouri/Carlyle, Illinois area. There is a small rehoming fee. Please contact Ralphie’s owner at hilmes82@gmail.com and they will send you an adoption application.
