Meet Janie, our beautiful torbie girl who's looking for her forever home! Janie is very shy at first, but she will warm up to those who show her patience and love. Plus, she comes with a bonus - her sister Zuzu! These two girls are bonded and must go home together. Janie is playful and loves to run and play but also enjoys napping all day. She's an easy-going girl when she's relaxed and loves to thread around legs when it's time for dinner and if you listen you can hear that sweet purr that she's just learning to use (to get her way!)

Janie and Zuzu lived outdoors for much of their young lives, so they just need someone who will let them really take their time. It could take many months for the girls to warm up but it will pay dividends. These two girls really do like people and want to be close - their instincts just still tell them to run from people until they really know them. But they are learning and they both have such sweet purrs - especially when they know they are getting soft pets and good treats! Thankfully they love their churu treats, so it makes it that much easier to start bonding right away!

Additional adoption info

Please fill out an adoption application on our website. One of our adoption counselors will contact you for a phone interview and if you have any current pets, a vet check will be done. Once you have an approved application, you are welcome to come inside any of the five cat and kitten rooms and visit with our wonderful cats. . Our adoption fee is $150 per cat, which covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, de-worming and vaccinations. You will sign an adoption contract and be given copies of the medical records for the cat or kitten. We have a lifetime return policy for all of our cats and kittens.

We have public adoption hours at our new cat adoption facility on Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

We are located at 959 N. Harrison Avenue, Cary NC 27513

This is in the Northwoods Market Shopping Center, at the intersection of N. Harrison Avenue and N. Maynard Road.

If you can't come on a Friday or Saturday, appointments can be made during the week for approved applicants.

Cat Angels Pet Adoptions is a cat and kitten rescue and adoption organization in the Triangle Area of NC. We are a no-kill shelter. Our goal is to help homeless, abandoned and abused cats and kittens find safe, loving, permanent homes. Every cat and kitten available for adoption has been spayed or neutered, is completely vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia or FIV, microchipped with a Home Again microchip and has been dewormed. We have a Lifetime Return Policy for all of our cats and kittens. For whatever reason, we will gladly accept any of our cats and kittens back into our program.
