My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable bundle of fluff is a purebred Standard Poodle. He came to us when a breeder got overwhelmed. His Mom was 38# and Dad was 70#. Both are AKC and both have had genetic testing, however, we do not have documentation.

This adorable little guy is ready to go to his forever home. He was born August 15, 2024. He has been working on his potty training and is doing quite well. He has been around several other dogs so learning about socialization.

He has received all age-appropriate vaccines, been microchipped, and neutered, and is being fostered in Sarasota. His adoption fee is $600.

If you are interested in adding this cuteness to your family and home, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
