Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $650, plus tax
Location: Foster home
Hi! My name is Koda!
My foster says that I'm incredibly silly and playful in a very kind way. Apparently I've been slow to figure out the bathroom thing BUT I do come when called and I do know how to sit really well!!
My foster says that I'm at the imprinting stage, I LOVE to follow my humans around and I prefer to stay close rather than run away! I am a very good boy and I walk on a leash really well.
I'm really adaptable and I sleep on my own as well, although if the bedroom door is open, I'd like to sleep close to you. Truth be told, sleeping is my FAVORITE activity!! Do you want to be my napping buddy??
My foster probably says this about every dog she fosters, but she says I'm the sweetest of them all!!
If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an application on the Carver Scott website!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
