My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Bonnie and I am so glad you are taking a look at me.

Bonnie is a lovely 2-year-old lab mix who's as smart as she is sweet. This crate-trained, house-trained pup already knows her basic cues and is great with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a home with a confident canine friend to help her shine.

Bonnie loves spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and exploring her surroundings. After a bit of playtime, she's all about snuggles with her favorite humans and winding down with a tasty chew toy. She's a bit of a creative recycler, too-shredding stuffies or helping you break down your Amazon boxes is her specialty!

Because Bonnie can be a little shy at first, she's looking for a quieter home with kids 16 and up who can give her the patience and consistency she craves. Once she warms up, her loving and playful personality will win you over.

If you're ready to provide Bonnie with the structured, peaceful home she deserves (and maybe a few extra boxes to shred), she'd love to meet you and show you what a loyal companion she can be!

Bonnie is an All-Star dog! My adoption comes with some extra benefits at time of adoption! Their adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and they will go home with their very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get him off to a good start! To schedule an appointment to meet Bonnie, email info@ahconnects.org (please include your name and phone number), and the staff will be happy to help you!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
