My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, my name is Chito! I`m a beautiful tabby girl, around two years of age. I came to the shelter with my housemate, Puddin, who`s under one year of age (around nine months old, at this time). We`re both available for adoption, but we don`t have to go to the same home together. I`m here at the shelter because I came from a household with a lot of animals, and they just couldn`t care for all of us anymore. I`ve lived with other cats, and dogs, and humans! I had an accident when I was a kitten, where part of my tail was burned, but it doesn`t inhibit me in any way, in fact--you can`t event tell by looking at me! Keep in mind that I`m a little shy at first until I get to know you, but I`m also friendly, so it doesn`t take me long to warm up. A loving, calm, and patient home would be wonderful! I would love to have a lot of toys and a comfy bed (or your lap would be fine too!), and a sunny window to sunbathe in front of would be nice too! I`m already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, so I`m ready to go to my new home! I`m looking for the purr-fect, FOREVER home, so please come meet me today if you`re interested!

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
