Hi, my name is Star and I'm ready to be all yours! I am a sweet and happy-go-lucky girl that's ready to join your family. I am pretty sure I am a Smooth Fox Terrier and Rat Terrier mix around 1 ½ years old. My family has a busy active lifestyle and think I would be better with a new family that has time for me.
I am good with other dogs and I'm very sweet with people and children. I really love people and getting pets and treats! I am house trained and am cool with hanging out in a crate where I don’t make a peep and, if I say so myself, am pretty good at walking on a leash, but guess I could always use some practice! I do bark sometimes especially when I see strangers getting close to our house.
A fenced yard would be ideal so I can run and play safely, but if that's not available, that’s cool, I just need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. You know what would really be cool? You and I go to some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing me home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.
I love to have fun, whether it's running in the yard or playing with you, but I'm not all about having fun, as I love to snuggle and give kisses, too. If you are looking for the perfect young dog, please fill out an application for me – Star Link! I can't wait to meet you!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
