Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Wednesday is a 5 year old, 38 lb Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She is not only gorgeous, but she has a sweet, friendly nature. Wednesday loves to play with her stuffed toys and run around the backyard chasing squirrels and birds. She also appreciates cuddle time and belly rubs.
She gets along just fine with the resident dogs in her foster home, but she would also be fine as an only dog. She has shown no interest in the cat. She is crate and housetrained and generally well behaved. We think she is gentle enough for kids of all ages. Wednesday has heartworms because she was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for her treatment with our partner vet. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
