Hi, I'm Millie!
I'm here to help you fill your lap, your couch, and your heart. My foster mama says I'm sweet and gentle, a girl with a soft soul, and a hint of hound in my family tree (and in my howl-more on that in a minute!). I'm already a pretty great housemate if I do say so myself! Potty training is going super well, and I've only had one accident so far (and it wasn't my fault; I really had to go!). Take me out regularly, and we're good to go. I love my crate, too, but if I need a potty break or just miss you, I'll give a quiet whine or an adorably soft howl to remind you I'm here!
I currently share my foster home with a 50-pound bully mix and two tiny Shih Tzu brothers. At first, I was like, "What are these small fluffballs? and, well... I may have barked and growled a little. But it turns out, they're pretty nice, and now we're cool! (Did I mention I'm sneaky? I managed to escape my crate when my foster sister left the latch open. Foster mama came home, saw me out, and nearly fainted... but all foster siblings were alive, well, and snoozing! No harm, no foul.)
So here's what you're getting if you pick me:
Chill vibes: Low to medium shedding, low energy, loves naps.
Crate Skills: Yep, I'm a crate-training superstar.
Potty Prowess: Practically a potty training prodigy. Just take me outside, and we're golden.
Playful but polite: I don't guard food, toys, or people-I'm just here for the good times and the cuddles.
Adorable alert: Copper red and white fur, soft gold eyes, and a big overstuffed ottoman I'll gladly share with you.
Now, all I need is a kind, gentle human who will love me back and be gentle and kind to me as well. I've got so much love to give, and I'd love someone who won't leave me alone too much-maybe with a doggy sibling or two, or someone who can give me tons of love and kisses. I'm an expert at cozy cuddles, will do my best to make you laugh, and promise to keep you safe, happy, and loved forever.
If you think you're my person, I can't wait to meet you! Love,
Millie
PS! I know "sit" and "eh" (for stop or no) and I am getting the hang of "come" (as in short distances, not recall). I also don't mind the leash and will keep my paws down around new people! I really do enjoy stealing reading glasses though so just FYI but always politely hands them over when caught in the act.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
