Meet Monster Jam, a sweet and friendly boy who`s known for his independent spirit! Despite his name, he`s a gentle soul with a mellow demeanor. Monster Jam is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he`s a cuddly companion who`s a sucker for chin scratches! He does get nervous at times, but with a patient and understanding owner, he`ll surely feel at ease. Monster Jam might look like a grumpy guy, and he can be a bit grumbly at times. But he just hasn`t had the chance to show his soft side and be the best he can be! His loving personality is enough to brighten up any home. Adopt Monster Jam and let his gentle purrs and cuddles fill your life with joy!

We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Ours adoptable pets are available every day noon to 5pm except for Sunday and until 7 pm on Wednesdays!

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year. We have four animal care centers in the Metro area including locations in Detroit, Westland, Rochester Hills and Howell, as well as cat adoption centers in PetSmart stores in several locations and an adoption center at Petco in Sterling Heights.
