Howdy! My name is Max and I'm the most handsome 2yr old long hair male German Shepherd you'll meet! I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.
I was dumped at a shelter due to no fault of my own. Thankfully IDGSR brought me to the best foster home while I wait to be adopted!
1. I'm a big handsome boy. My foster mom thinks I'm part long hair/part medium hair, I have this cool fringe like hair on my elbows, ears, & tail! It makes me super handsome!
2. I'm dog friendly & would do well with kids over the age of 10! I have a lot of energy and would love a nice large female friend to play with or some kids to help keep me active.
3. To prove I'm the bestest boy ever, I need to learn some basic & advanced obedience. This will help us bond and show all of your nosey neighbors that you have the smartest dog on the block!
4. I would make the best hiking, running, swimming, and active companion! I hope you can keep up with me!
5. I have big dreams of being a loved member of a family, someone to actually care about me and give me the best life. I promise to be loyal, loving, and your best friend for ever.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
