Pippin is officially ready for adoption! She was picked up by a good samaritan close to where another female black pit bull was unfortunately hit and killed by a car a few days prior. She went to animal control for her stray hold, but no owner came and we couldn't resist pulling her into our rescue. She is the sweetest little thing - seriously, she's only 34lbs, and at 2 years old she won't get any bigger. She loves everyone she meets; adults, kids, other dogs, they're all her friends! She is crate trained, house broken & knows some basic commands.

Preble County Pittie Committee strives to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of "the underdog". Our goal is to rescue pit bulls who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters and place them in forever homes that make them forget they were ever almost a statistic. In a world where unfair discrimination and willful ignorance can be a death sentence for these dogs, we strive to educate the general public and show that pit bull heads are almost as big as their hearts, all they need is a chance to prove it.
