My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Benni (Benni Boo Bop)! She is a four-year-old unknown mixed breed who is super energetic, sassy, goofy, intelligent, curious, and cuddly. She is such a sweet pup who is super loving and loyal. I adopted Benni, at 18 years old, during a very difficult time in my life. She came from the Tangipahoa Animal Shelter and was dropped off, as a puppy, just the night before I adopted her, so I do not have much information about her exact age or breed. She struggles with some separation anxiety, and because I live alone and am a full-time university student, it has been difficult for me to ensure she is properly enriched, exercised, and socialized. Due to my rigorous schedule, it is unfair for her to suffer because I am unavailable during long periods of the day. My goal is for her to find a loving forever home where she has space to run and play, experiences routine, and is properly cared for, enriched, and socialized regularly. I am happy to provide all of her belongings!
