My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Birdie!

Birdie is a happy, playful corgi pup! Birdie was born without knees in her back legs. If I didn’t tell you that, you’d never know. She is FAF & hilarious, but also a drama queen. She likes to complain about the service, scream at her sister for no reason,& knock all other dogs out of the way to get all the pets  She is a 7 month old Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppy.

Birdie is current on all vaccines & housebroken. She is currently fostered in the Greenwich, NY area, and her adoption fee is $500.

Meet the Pet

If all goes well then the adoption fee is paid, the adoption contract is completed and signed and you take your new family member home.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be completed before any meet and greets or extensive information is given out. All of our animals are home fostered and we must be diligent about protecting our volunteers. Our adoption fees range from $50 to $1000 and are determined on a per case basis. Our puppies that are to young to be spayed or neutered will be adopted out and a contract will be signed committing the adopter to perform the procedure as soon as the puppy is deemed ready by a veterinarian. This will be done no later than 6 months of age.
Our animals are rescues. We sometimes don't know everything about the animal as they are usually in our care for a short period of time. We disclose EVERYTHING are aware of at the time of adoption. We cannot be responsible for an issue that occurs weeks or months or years after the animal is adopted.
Opening your heart and your home to a rescue animal is a commitment. It is not for as long as the dog is easy to care for, or, for until you get tired of it. It is for the life of that animal. We will be very selective as to who we allow to adopt our angels. We expect you to be open and honest during the adoption process.

More about this rescue

We are a group of animal lovers that came together so that we could save more of the voiceless animals that haven't gotten a good start.
All of us work at least one full time job and the rest of our time goes for the little souls that need our help.
We are as dedicated to each other as we are to the animals. Together we are making a difference. We have volunteers who help us on all levels but always need more help socializing and helping with taking dogs to vet appointments and picking them up. Going to the groomer and much more.
There are some who handle networking, mass emailing, etc. Others who help on Facebook. We have fosters who take in our rescues for a period of time, so that a rescued dog learns to live in a household and so that we can get to know the fur baby a little better so they can be placed in their proper furever home ~ also the fosters assist us in getting the animals OUT of the shelters faster & more efficiently. There are also those wonderful people who do volunteer transport !!! That's so so important !! and everyone else, who just likes our page or shares our pictures ~ we are ALL in this together.
