Persimmon is a mischievous queen. She loves playing in water, especially the sink in the bathroom. She's always on the go and wants to be wherever you are. While she loves pets, she's also a playful kitten. She's very curious and has lots of energy - she will need a playmate in her new home. She loves playing with other foster and resident kitties, chasing and being chased all over the house. She will bring mischief, joy and love into your home.

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
