Quincy
4 month old male

In foster care since: June 29th, 2024

Good with: dogs, cats, children

Fostered in Dutton, Ontario

Adoption fee: 150

Meet Quincy! Shoulder percher extraordinaire, and expert in all things warm and cozy. This sweet little tabby kitten is just about as playful as they come, and he can’t wait to find a forever family to provide him with all of the toys his little heart desires.

Quincy is a hilarious kitten who keeps his foster family on their toes. He is often found “assisting” his foster mom with the laundry, making a point of being the first in line to touch the warm, newly dry clothes. He can’t get enough of jumping into the warm dryer and warming up his little belly while his foster mom folds the laundry (so make sure you keep an eye and check before you start your laundry!) And wool dryer balls? Oh boy! Those might be the best thing this little guy has ever experienced. Even though they’re twice the size of his head, they’re no match for his playful strength.

Quincy LOVES to climb. Whether that is tall shelves, a cat tree, or even his humans, you will almost certainly be able to spot Quincy somewhere up high. He loves to climb onto his foster moms shoulders and walk around the house, taking in his kingdom from his high vantage point, letting everybody around him know who’s really the boss around here.

Quincy has been raised with dogs, other cats, and kids, and has no issues with anybody. He would do great adopted into a home with another playful cat, but would adjust just fine all on his own if provided with the right toys and stimulation.

Quincy is up to date on relevant vaccines, litter trained, and neutered

More about this rescue

Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for dogs from the dog sledding industry.

We also extend our reach locally by rescuing stray cats and dogs from Aboriginal communities that we partner with. Additionally, our efforts expand globally as we started this rescue by saving Baladi cats and dogs from the streets of Egypt, but now that it is banned we continue helping Baladi's by supporting their placement in Egyptian shelters.
