My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco, our sweet 6 yr old, 51 lb foster girl. Coco lives for belly rubs and to be close to you. She loves to give kisses and be by your side. Coco is house trained but gets very excited when you return home.

Coco walks well on a leash. She enjoys short walks (around the block), long walks (three to four miles) or any where in between! Coco has become used to our next door neighbor’s large dog after an adjustment period and will now walk beside him. She still appears to be reactive to other dogs when we walk, but we think with a proper introduction she could do well with other dogs. At PACC she enjoyed other dogs in the play area.

Whenever we walk she likes to greet everyone and lives for them to pet her and talk with her. We feel she would do well with children, all though we have not had her near children.

Coco will sit upon command and we are working on teaching her to stay. She does well with loud noises and is not bothered by the vacuum, washing machine, leaf blower, or other loud sounds.

When we are eating a meal, Coco will lay on her bed and not hover by the table. When preparing meals, she likes to lay in the kitchen to be near you, but has never tried to surf the counters or attempt to jump up to get food.

Coco loves to play with her Kong Wubba, chasing it when you throw it and bringing it back to play tug. She is strong and loves to pull. On occasion she will try to jump up when playing but we are trying to curb that behavior.

Coco is the sweetest girl. She lives to please you and just wants to be by your side. She gives lots of kisses and is happy to lay beside you. When you are petting her she will flop on her side so you can give her belly rubs.

Everyone who meets her thinks she is so sweet and gentle. Coco is a total love bug and would love to be a part of your family.
