My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tanner
Domestic Medium Hair, Born in August 2021, Buff Orange and White Tabby, Neutered Male

Hey there! I’m Tanner, your friendly neighborhood cat with a story to tell. I’ve been on quite the adventure, starting my journey in a cozy foster home with one of the coolest vets around. I might have a few battle scars (yes, that’s my signature look), but don’t let my past fool you—I’m all about good vibes and fun times!

I’ve got a lot to say and a personality as big as my appetite! Speaking of food, I’m definitely food motivated—treats are my love language. Whether I’m pouncing on my favorite toys or showing off my playful side, you’ll find that I’m always ready for some action (and snacks!).

While I do enjoy some love and affection, I prefer it in small doses—just enough to keep me purring! I can get a bit overstimulated, so if I give you a gentle swat or a playful nip, just know it’s all part of my charm.

I’d love to be the king of my castle, so I may prefer to be the only cat in your life. If you’re looking for a companion who’s friendly, funny, and full of personality (with a little bit of sass), then I’m your guy! Let’s make some new memories together!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
