My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11/10/24. One-year-old COCO, who was abandoned in a school yard, is as pretty as a picture and ever so sweet. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, warms up and is quite playful. She's also very smart. She's calm and walks nicely on a leash. We haven't had time to evaluate her with other dogs yet. Cats unknown.

10/16/24. Coco is the little girl found on a school yard. She is a very smart lady. We played with some puzzles today and she aced all so fast. She does know some commands: Sit, Paw, and loves to play with toys. She does need to be evaluated with other dogs and cats are unknown.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
