Available for pre-adoption in New England and the Midwest - Casper

Looking for a cuddler, a snuggler, a love bug? Meet Casper! One look in those soulful puppy eyes and your heart will melt. Casper is a typical lab mix puppy with normal puppy energy. He enjoys playing with his stuffed toys and interacting with his littermates. One minute he will be in the middle of playtime and then he is at the feet of his foster mom wanting to be picked up. Casper loves to curl up in his fosters lap and snooze the day away.

As Casper is a typical 7 week puppy, he will need help to learn house manners. he will benefit from obedience training so he can learn all the things that will help him to be the bestest boy. He is already off to a great start. Casper wants to be your best friend.

Casper is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, preventatives and is microchipped. If interested, please fill out an application at www.luckylabrescue.com

More about this rescue

Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption is an all-volunteer, non-profit (currently filing for 501(c)(3) status) rescue organization whose mission is to reduce the euthanasia rates and inhumane treatment of Labrador Retrievers in the Midwest and find loving forever homes for them.

Most labs that come into Lucky Lab Rescue are from shelters here in the Midwest. Most are at risk of euthanasia, usually due to overcrowded shelters. Labs are one of the most popular breeds of dogs due to their loyal and family oriented personalities. Labs are also one of the most overbred breeds and are the number one breed to be found in shelters. They also have one of the highest euthanasia rates. Some find it difficult that rescues can be breed specific, however, Lucky Lab Rescue and other lab rescues make a huge impact on euthanasia rates just by rescuing labs and lab mixes alone.
