Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
White & dark gray patches, short hair, neut. male, born 6/17/24, #19283
Cats: yes with intro Dogs: loves Children: older kids welcome
BACKGROUND: A gorgeous young mama Nellie wandered into a yard in the Coachella Valley and promptly gave birth; Nellie had good instincts, because the homeowners kept her fed and safe for several weeks while they reached out to rescues. The family then moved into foster care to grow and thrive.
PERSONALITY: Hunter is beyond lovable! He plays and pounces and is sure to brighten any home with his infectious energy and mad climbing skills: he loves to go vertical. You’ll have his instant attention if you bring out a treat! Hunter earned his name by being the first to explore, the first to eat regular food, the first to jump and catch toy mice. He has lots of energy and wants to play, play, play, take a nap, and then probably play some more. This cuddly boy loves to nap on your lap so long as it’s his idea and he has a big loud purr.
COMPATIBILITY: Hunter would likely enjoy a kitty friend, though he’ll want a slow introduction to any unknown friends-to-be. He’s independent enough to go solo, though if you’re looking for a trio, Hunter is a great third with his mom Nellie and sister Puff! He loves the gentle Lab in his foster home -- he’ll nuzzle her and groom her ears -- and would likely do well with other calm canines. Older children would likely be great friends for Hunter.
Do you have room in your home and your heart for this little desert-born boy? He’ll bring sunshine and smiles for years!
