My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howie is a gorgeous 3 yr old Havanese mix who weighs 16 pounds and was a stray at the Lancaster shelter.  He was in quite a matted mess but fortunately we got a pic so you can get an idea of what a beautiful coat he'll have when it grows back!    Howie is extremely loving and is a professional cuddler.  He loves being wherever you are and will keep you company on the couch.  Howie is a bit nervous when walking outside on a leash, probably due to his survival instinct being on the streets.  He's social with everyone he meets as well as dogs.  Howie will benefit from having another dog in the house not only as a buddy but also to help him feel more relaxed and secure.
