Shawn was saved from Upstate shelter on the day he was to be euthanized. They saw his jaw was crooked and were going to put him down. No way we could let a sweet boy die for something like this! We had him assessed by the best ortho surgeon around and he said the break in his jaw is old and healed. His recommendation is to leave it alone because his body condition is great, he eats without difficulty and he is not in pain. So, this little cutie will have a quirky jaw but live a happy life with lots of love. Shawn loves people! He gets along with the fosters dogs. He is little scared of the cats but does not chase them. Can you give our cute boy a forever home where he will be a valued family member? He is ready! Age 5. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided. 14 lb.

More about this rescue
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
