Meet Max, he’s a 6-year-old American Eskimo. He’s neutered, has insurance, and is up-to-date on all his wellness checks and shots.
Max is a loyal, well-behaved dog with a bit of a territorial streak, making him best suited for an experienced dog owner in a home without children. He was abandoned before I adopted him two years ago.
In our home, Max sometimes struggles with our 15-year-old, blind, and diabetic dog, who naturally needs more attention. Max occasionally snaps at him, which leaves our elderly dog confused and distressed. He also tends to become protective when children are around and receiving my attention, so I keep him crated when we have company.
Max is a great dog, and I’m not in a hurry to rehome him, but I don’t want to keep him crated all day while I’m at work, nor do I want to add stress to our elderly dog’s final years.
I’m open to trial periods or arrangements to ensure he finds a good fit.
Max loves fetching, tug-of-war, dancing, belly rubs, and chicharrones
