Their adoption process

Considering adopting or fostering? If you are new to having a house rabbit companion, we recommend doing the following to help make the decision process easier!

-Let our adoption counselors assist you in finding the bunny(s) with the right personality for you!
-Learn all you can ahead of time. We recommend rabbit.org – bunnylady.com – myhouserabbit.com
-Consider fostering first to see if having a house rabbit companion is the right fit for you.
-Be prepared for your rabbit’s arrival. We can help you find everything you will need. We do require that the bunnies are housed indoors and if they are in an enclosure, it must be no smaller than a 16 sqft area.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Fill out our application to start the adoption process! We also offer fostering, to experience life with a specific animal before adopting!
  2. Approve Application
    1. Once we receive your application we will contact you to discuss questions and have you review our educational materials!
  3. Approve Application
    1. We review your application and request to have a virtual or in person home check before adoption approval.
  4. Meet the Pet
    1. Most of our animals available for adoption are in foster homes, so we will arrange a meet up for you and the animal you are interested in!
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. After you sign our contract and pay your animals adoption fee, it's official! Your new animal companion is now part of your family!
