My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Suzi, a heartwarming example of canine companionship. Her personality is as radiant as her intellect. A dog who is as friendly as they come, Suzi never misses an opportunity to share her affection with those around her. She`s cuddly, making her the perfect snuggle buddy for those lazy afternoons. Yet, Suzi is also smart, quickly learning new tricks and commands. She came in with Guinness, her lifelong friend, showing her ability to form strong bonds. Suzi is a dog who would enrich any home with her love and intelligence. Adopt Suzi and experience the joy of unconditional love and loyalty that only a pet like her can provide.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
