My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Guinness, a senior dog with a heart full of love and a mind as sharp as a tack. This friendly fellow is not just smart, but also an independent spirit. He enjoys learning new tricks and exploring on his own, but also loves a good cuddle. Guinness came to the shelter with his companion Suzi, and they`ve been inseparable ever since. His friendly nature and intelligence make him a joy to be around. Despite his senior status, Guinness still has plenty of energy and love to give. He would make a wonderful addition to any home looking for a loyal and intelligent companion. Adopt Guinness today and bring a ray of sunshine into your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
